Event Description:

     The show will consist of artworks ranging from body performances, video, painting, photography, live music, digital art, and architecture design models, as well as photos from the Shenzhen Photographic Club. Presentations of our Coaster Raiders will begin promptly at 7:30pm, with a concert that will follow until 11pm.

     Be a part of the exhibition! The public is also welcomed in the exhibition hall from 3pm-7pm to participate in the public arts project within the Coaster Raid exhibition. Please join us in this public art piece by bringing an object, story, thought, idea, or whatever you think represents Bao’an, Xixiang and add it to the piece. Your selected item will be documented with your name and photo/ video and presented during the opening event. We’d love for as many people to take part in this project as possible, as a way to give a voice for the people of Bao’an, Xixiang. The key element we need is YOU! So please don’t be afraid to share and participate in this main artwork for the Coaster Raid Bao’an exhibition.

     The artists that will be exhibiting their work in this show include Liu Xianglin, Wen Cailian, Xiongwei, Chen Zhigang, Zi Zhe, Zhang Xun, Zhang Miao, He Yi, Dave Jaturon Kingminghae & Montira Panpleewan, and Miao Hanwen & Suo Mengqian.      This Coaster Raid edition is based and co-organized with the famous F518 Free Art Base. The show will continue on from the 25th June - 10th July 2011. Admission is free so come, bring some friends and discover a side of Bao’an (besides the airport!) that you’ve never encountered before!
